Hope you’re doing well today! I recently got my H2D, and for the most part I’m happy with it however, I’m having some issues with multi-colored ABS prints on the same nozzle.
I am creating prints with lettering and a background, with the lettering being one color and the background being another (lettering and background are on same layers, 1mm thick). It seems like, in some areas, the lettering is separating with the background.
I know this shouldn’t be happening because I can print these prints just fine on my P1S with the same filament settings (K and flow ratio also same) and the same slicer settings. I’m wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what could be happening and any suggestions I should try.
Things I have done:
- High Fidelity Nozzle offset calibration
- Adjusting Initial layer width
- Increasing flow ratio (0.98+ seems to decrease quality, 0.95-0.97 doesn’t seem to make a difference)
- Increased first layer height from 0.20mm to 0.24mm
- Turned off elephants foot compensation
- Increased bed temp to 110*C
I’m also wondering if playing with the shrinkage settings would make a difference.
