H2D Air Filtration

Dear Bambu Support,

I really wonder about the fact, that only the air of high temp filaments gets cleaned by the internal filter system, any other scenario is bypassed. Why do you think the VOCs of PETG are less harmful? Can you please clearify this? Even on the X1C the air gets always filtered. Do you plan on further firmware that the user can decide weither the air gets filtered or not?

Is it possible to run the additional Bambu smoke purifyer for the standalone 3D Printing machine?

Hi, they said they are investigating this, here:

I contacted Alveo3D today, they are working on a solution for the H2D aswell. I used the Alveo3D Filtration Kit on my X1C and this is an absolutly perfect solution. I remixed the STL Files for a poop bin, just look for DeeSea on Printables to find my projects. Im happy and wait for the Alveo3D solution nevertheless what Bambu does or not. Honestly I’m a little upset that Bambu engineers everything in perfection and when it comes to filtration, all chinese solutions fail or needs to accept cons. This topic is nothing more less than about our health.

Ah nice. I made a poop chute that you can close, a recirculating filter and a exhaust filter, as I am often in the same room when it prints and my family members are often in here too. You can check out this discussion if you are interested, other people made things for filtration too: H2D Air Filtration Upgrade

Alveo3D goes one thought ahead, the cleaned hot air gets pushed up to the poop shoot back into the printer, this reduces energy costs and stabilze the printing environment for technical filaments. For PLA or PETG its needed to open a side flap - it combines filtering and cooling. This is a complete closed system for the backside of the Bambu. This is smart engineering we Europeans love

Been printing with smoke purifier connected at min speed. Chamber temp always between 31-33c.

Kip, how loud is this solution?

Uh the H2D has a recirculating mode already

Yes I know, in this case the Alveo3D System can be switched on and off with a remote control unit. They charge 80 bucks for this solution. You overseas guys from America have to deal with longer shipping times. They are professionals in the industry

Min is not loud, 100% is loud unless you close the room door.
