H2D and thermal paste for the hotend

Just changed to .6 nozzles and there was no thermal paste between it and the apparatus.

Seems like some Artic Silver would be advantageous here.

Anyone try it?

you don’t need it but it’s beneficial for preventing the plastic gas condensation. I used to apply some high temp thermal paste too, but now i’m just too lazy to do it.

Not one bit. Both AS5 and Ceramique are not within operating temps of nozzle heater.

Something like Boron Nitride would work: Boron Nitride Paste | Optimize Heat Transfer | Slice Engineering

I am no realy serius about this doing, its designed as an quick change system.

If you use there the nitride Paste i guess it becomes dirty very fast and after offten changes so not realy sure if its an good idea!

But if you know you are using only one Hotend most off the time, may be ok.

But i still waiting for my first Bambu Printer thats only laoud thinkings here

Not anyone needs that quickswap feature.
