When the bed is rising at the start of a print. I hear a clicking noise. This could be the belt skipping gear steps, so slowly but surely the bed will come out of alignment. This is only when the be rises at the start. If it is the motor’s gear skipping the steps, then there is no problem, but it is a problem on the long term, please adapt firmware to move bed slower up
I never heard anything like that, maybe make a video. The belt skipping noise is LOUD and it would be much more scarry that it looks from your post…
The sound is produced because the belt is touching the edge of the pulley. Support recommends moving the belt manually, and if that doesn’t help, then some grease on the edge of the belt. It didn’t help me because when the belt moves quickly, it quickly slides to the edge anyway
What you hear is a less tensioned mesh tube over the cables inside the printer. I changed the heatbed to the engineering grade heatbed on my X1C from Princore
I really know what you hear. Its just the plastic of the mesh hose which slides up in its alignment. That makes such a crickle sound
Hi, thanks for your answer. I know the sound of a skipping tooth, and yes, normally it is loud. SInce it is regular, it probably is not that
this seems not possible, since then the ticking sound should be that of every tooth, and the sound is more like every rotation.
Thank you for your answer. This could indeed be it, since the sound is only when it rises quickly, you won’t here that when it goes slowly. But I need to find where that tube is inside the H2D. i think it is in the back, but the sound “seems” to come from the bottom.
I have around 10 printers, all for functional parts or prototyping. Since a couple of years I stopped making them, so I do know one and another about those mecanics.
Your answer seems the most probable, I’ll post a video when I open it in around 10 days.
