The H2D Confuses Filament Colors.
It shows correct on the buidlplate before and after slicing, but while printing it reverses the two colors.
It seems near impossible to get it right.
I use two AMS 2 Pro, the left AMS on the left nozzle, the right AMS on the right nozzle
Is this a bug in Bambu Studio?
I’m not sure I follow.
You sync Studio with the printer, colors match on Studio with what’s in the AMS. When you send it to print the colors show correctly with the correct “source” under them, you then send it and the printer prints the wrong color. Am I right?
Are you mapping from a downloaded file?
Pay real close attention to where the filament is after you slice, I’ve had it change my filament around after I loaded it up and I either have to move it to the slot it now wants or customize the grouping and change it to match my AMS.
Yes, I’ve synced the filaments and they’re displaying correctly (I’ve added a few photos). I selected the colors in the slicer, and they’re displaying correctly on the buildplate in Bamboo Studio. However, something went wrong during printing; the colors were inverted. This isn’t a problem for this model, but it’s a major issue if you can’t trust your selection in Bamboo Studio. I believe that if the slicer displays the correct colors, then the printer shouldn’t print with inverted colors. This clearly seems a bug to me, that Bamboo Lab should fix.
I’m having the same issue for the first time today. I just powered off everything and restarted to see if it fixes anything. I printed a few jobs already this morning and all was well. but not now.
I am having the exact problem today.
Everything looks correct, model preview, ams settings, everything synced, looking on the h2d screen matches what I see in the software in terms of where the two filaments are actually loaded which nozzle and so forth.
But when printed the two filaments are reversed.
Has anyone come up with a reliable way to work around this bug?
I am experiencing the same issue and have just recently posted a related question. I found that when I slice with “Filament Saving Mode” selected Bambu Studio (BS) mixes up the nozzles for printing, looking to print the correct colour but using the incorrect nozzle connected to the AMS. If you select “Convenience Mode” the correct filament and nozzle are selected. So, until Bambu Labs states otherwise, it looks to be a bug in BS.
