I noticed the machine was squeaking during XY motion
I greased the belts and pulleys and noticed this bearing no longer sits horizontal. It appears to be the source of the squeaking too. (Pressing it silences the noise).
I’m guessing this is broken, which parts do I need to get to fix this? Would save me dismounting they AMS and crawling around the machine to see how it installs.
So far print quality is unaffected, so maybe I will leave it.

Normally I would contact bambu support but I think this close to CNY the community might be quicker.
I had the exact same same failure on my “B” stepper only I caught it earlier. Went through the same thing with squeaking noises then grinding before I figured the bearing was failing. Had a replacement sent that was incorrect stepper, figured it out after it was installed, then had another set sent and the shaft on the “B” stepper sheared after about 50 hrs of printing . Support was good throughout but I did have a minor issue after the shaft sheared on the last replacement set as even with pictures they didn’t seem to understand it was the replacement stepper that failed not the original with the bad shear mount bearing. But after I explained the issue a little more aggressively along with the original pictures I was offered a replacement H2D, I again requested replacement steppers which they finally sent and I’m about 45 hrs on them without issue. Bot times I experienced belt squeaks leading up to the failure.

As well as squeaking, it also causes the print head to move sideways when the x rail is pulled forwards manually e.g. to clean the nozzle
do you feel the belt tension is a contributing factor to having this breakage occur? for our H2D printer, the print head hit a blob on a print from low quality filament, which caused it to skip sideways along some belt teeth, and after that is when i noticed the problem. but i think the real issue is that small bracket that holds the bearing.
I think it has less to do with belt tension than just bad luck. Did you not notice your bearing making a grinding sound prior to it failing? I’ll dig around and see if I still have the video of the noise mine was making when I decided to open a support ticket. That being said I think the bearings might not be high quality or we just got unlucky. As far as the shaft shearing I’m guessing there had to be an inclusion in the steel shaft as nothing in the printer should have enough force to shear it without something else failing. To their credit support offered to let me send back the printer for a replacement but I requested replacement steppers instead. Two reasons I opted not to replace other than the stepper issue my H2D prints beautifully so I didn’t want to risk getting a lemon over a failed stepper and second they wanted me to return my printer prior to their sending out the replacement which seemed like a total time sink and PITA. That being said I was at least smart enough to keep my original box even though I almost threw it away a couple of times, now it’s not going anywhere until the warranty period is over.
