I have a new H2D that does not work. I tried their troubleshooting for a clogged nozzle which is not the problem that they sent me. I had to send them countless photos, videos, & printer logs. Finally I got them to agree to replace the printer with a new one so I thought. They sent me an email with 2 options. Option 1 was to send printer back and after inspection they will send me a new one. They said it would take 2-3 weeks. Option 2 was to pay for the printer again and they would send a new one and when I received the replacement to send the old one back for a full refund upon receipt and inspection. I chose option 2 and they responded with they ordered a new printer combo on my behalf with no way to pay for it. When I asked for the invoice, they said they have no way to invoice and that I have to go on the store website and reorder it and wait for months like everyone else! You can’t even order it on their website and the price went up since my purchase! Outrageous! I told them this was unacceptable and that if they did not resolve it with a new printer; I will dispute the charges with the credit card company. I have spent thousands of dollars with this company and have 3 x1e printers, 12 AMS and every accessory and filament known to man! I think I am a great customer. I am outraged at this last response. I am hoping for an amicable resolution, however I am ver wary. Buyers beware of this company. I am extremely disappointed with this printer. Anyone else having same problems? If so were you able to resolve it and how?
Sorry about your problem. Perhaps you can post some photos and better description of the issue for us so we can help you fix it instead of the replacement saga (aka nuclear option).
Man that is really awful. Unfortunately when it comes to returns and customer service with printer problems Bambu seems to be awful at it. I’m hearing some people the h2d works flawlessly but for others its been a lot of problems. It’s a complicated machine with tons of sensors and tyr way it works is very technical.
Why don’t you share what’s wrong rather than writing a phone book about your dissatisfaction with customer service? There’s enclyopedic knowledge here in the forum that could solve your issues.
Why you don’t chose option one? That would have been the best solution. They offered two options to solve your problem.
Unfortunately it seems like a lot of people just come here to vent into the aether. Im talking about posts such as “bambu why is your networking so terrible?” etc. Perhaps they dont realize the forums are NOT a shortcut direct line to bambu lab support but a place for people to chat about the printers and help each other. ![]()
You’re really really salty that i criticized them for doing something poorly, aren’t you?
You’ve lost track of which profile you’re using ![]()
Salty? no… just pointless 150+ reply thread I stopped reading long ago just to help you vent, with zero accomplished by it except stirring up some animosity between members.
bro you kept coming in just to thumbs down me, don’t lie about not reading it
you’re literally a salt factory
this is their official forums, the correct venue for feedback. No matter how much you try to make up excuses for being salty at people for giving feedback.
Perhaps subtlety is lost on you. Let me spell it out… I have zero interest in engaging with you. You seem to seek out confrontation.
If you had zero interested in engaging with me you wouldn’t be bringing up my thread two weeks later. You’re absolutely interested in salting all over the place, and interested in refusing to acknowledge you spoke on a subject you have insufficient knowledge on to even make an intelligent statement.
You want to prove that you have “Zero interested in engaging with me” as you claim? THEN DON’T SUMMON ME TO AN UNRELATED THREAD
Also: don’t follow up with extremely transparent attempts at gaslighting.
No one summoned you and you seem to have completely missed the point of my post, in which I used that thread as an example. Im done replying to you.
Let me make this easy for you and block you for harassment. See you in six months.
I think this exchange made the point better than I could ever make it myself. Unfortunately there are members like him that are only here to vent and pick fights.
Back on track and to OP. Please post some photos and a description of the problem so we can try to help you.

This makes me wonder if 3d printers manufacturers started running after trends blindly.
Ok you asked for the problems - these are just some of them for starters.
Machine is brand new and I have not had one successful print. Filament clogging in poop chute, Detected that the extruder may not be extruding normally. Please check and decide if printing should be stopped. MQTT Command verification failed, please update Studio or Handy. Unknown error [Oc00-8040 062339, Al detected air-printing defect.
Please check the hotend extrusion status. Refer to assistant for solutions.[OC00-8040-0700000]. Detected that the extruder may not be extruding normally. Please check and decide if printing should be stopped. No camera connection: Insufficient permission:8 - There are so many multiple problems and the error codes are not in your wiki. I have dried the filament, no clogs in the extruder. I cannot print a 2 color print. I have performed the calibration 2 times. I don’t know what else to do. I have 3 X1e’s and have no problem.
Are you on the latest firmware on the printer and latest handy app? That error comes up on the handy (MQTT, permissons) when you use an older outdated version that does not have the new authorization control. What version handy are you on?
Check the hot end are properly installed and aligned. A photo would be great, of each nozzle in the closed position with the guard. You can tell if they are aligned properly if they are centered on the guard.
Jeeze sounds like the K2plus, errors all over the place constantly!
He has 2 or 3 X1C machines so he is not new. I suspect he’s updated the firmware, studio and handy by now.
Unfortunately this is the normal approach for bambu. They insist you send the old printer back before exchanging or refunding. This was the same experience I had with a faulty X1. I was given the same options, as I wasn’t sure if I wanted a replacement I chose to just get a refund. If I knew I wanted another printer I would have simply chosen option 1. Why didn’t you take that if you know you want a H2D, is not like you are going to be stuck for something to print on. ![]()
