H2D + dual AMS: Same color backup and switching nozzles?

If the assigned filament for the left nozzle in AMS#1 runs out, I expected the printer to auto switch to the same color that’s already available in AMS#2 and continue, even if that meant using the right nozzle since the print is single color from a visual standpoint.

  1. Is there any way to let a single color job fail over to an identical filament that’s in a different AMS and/or on the other nozzle?
  2. Can Bambu Studio be configured so that same color = same material pool, regardless of AMS unit/nozzle, for single color prints?

The answer is “no” because the slicing is different for left and right nozzles.

nozzle assignments in gcode are “baked in”, the answer is no.
