The printer malfunctioned while warming up for PA printing. It displayed an error message indicating a possible loss of communication with the layer fan and a problem with the filament cutting blades. It was disassembled to check for any obstructions, but nothing was found. Both the hotend and layer fans are working. The issue arises when selecting between print heads. The filament selection motor isn't functioning; only the left print head and the flow blocker move up and down. After three attempts, it throws an error message stating it couldn't switch extruders.

Not sure what you mean by layer fan, is it the part cooling fan?
Anyway, the cam switch doesn’t seem to move and that motor can’t be bought separately and your solution then is to buy this unit Dual Extruder Unit | Bambu Lab US Store
But before, let support decide what’s wrong so you don’t buy the wrong spare part.
Hi, Bambu Lab tells me to first try replacing the TH board, I was writing in case someone else had experienced the same problem, since the printer is not even four months old.
Not the same type of error you’re experiencing, but I have replaced almost every component in the print head more than once: TH Board, both Eddy sensors, right heating assembly, hotend cooling fan, and part cooling fan. The fans have died on me multiple times, and we still don’t have firmware that can use the enhanced hotend cooling fan. So if you have the same luck as me, prepare to dismantle the tool head many times from now on.
The printer is not even eight months old.
