So, I used a tough TPU and tested it in the AMS as AMS TPU and obviously it got jammed. The website has a broken link that points to an invalid URL due to a spelling mistake, so just in case someone else is stupid like me - here’s the guide to disassemble the head.
It’s actually not bad, much quicker and nicer than the X1C. It is a little fiddly the first time as it’s not super obvious how to wiggle stuff to remove it but once you get it, the slowest part is removing the 5 screws.
I’m having some serious issues with getting my hotend reassembled. `I thought I had broken filament in the extruder pathway so I decided to take it apart. Figured, at some point in time I’m going to need to learn how to do this.
Unfortunately I broke one of the plates inside while rescrewing it in. I had something out of place that caused this.
Now that I have my replacement part, I just can’t get the dang left cutter assembly to click in! Ive been at it for at least 3 hours today, taking things apart and slowly putting it back together incase I overlooked something.
