Hello,

I’ve been having a problem with my H2D for a month. It’s been printing worse and worse. So, I’m going to write a quick summary of the situation to get your opinion.

I occasionally have problems with the extruder (slippage) or significant under-extrusion on my prints (automatic calibration systematically fails). And the calibration in manual mode isn’t even the same; the result is catastrophic (see photo).

So, I performed a major maintenance job, including a nozzle change. Today, I just disassembled the extruder and noticed that the metal wheel isn’t perfectly aligned with the black wheel axle.

I’d like to know if this is normal, or if it needs to be perfectly locked to the axle and then glued to prevent it from moving ?

I took a photo from the internet because the person seems to have the same problem but without an answer.

Is the extruder wheel slipping compared to the gear? It is not normal, this a design or a production flaw and we have been several to experience this. Ask support for a new extruder and glue the original one and keep it as spare or use it until the new one arrives.

Hello, thank you for your reply. I have just made a repair with glue and it works like the first day, Of course I opened a ticket to get a new part.!
