I am a new user to the 3D printing world and the H2D is my first system. After using it almost 24/7 for 2 months I have a few suggestions outlined below:
- Enable the ability to dry filament while printing, I have seen this requested numerous times by others so clearly there is a demand for it.
- Enable Bambu Studio to read & display the official filament color name off the Bambu RFID tag. The information is on the tag as you can see the hex code in the logs, just need it to appear in BS.
- Enable Bambu Studio could automatically optimize filament usage when you load the same filament & color into different AMS units feeding different heads on the H2D. That way when you have a print with lots of color changes Bambu Studio could slice to take advantage of that. You can technically do it now via assigning colors at specific layers, but it is a bit of a pain.
- Develop some sort of smart hub that would allow you to connect multiple AMS 2 Pro units to multiple printers. It would have to be smart enough to lockout an AMS while it is in use by one printer, but would free it up to be part of a filament pool when it is not.
