I have received and installed the new H2D firmware V01.03.65.00, but there is no description of the changes made to the previous one. Does anyone has any idea?
I reported an issue with the homing of the cold pull.
I will check tomorrow if the issue is resolved.
Not clear what has been fixed otherwise.
Yea, what gives? I don’t see any announcement of this in the beta channels.
Still I would say, that regarding new features, the list would not have been expanded, only the issues that have been found, should be addressed.
So generating a new functions list is not required then.
After this update, when H2D turns on, I can hear a click from the filament track switch. I wonder why it does that.
Were you able to get the track switch working? I bought one and set it up but it never worked on the last beta version, I just hooked it back up and am trying again. Filament would get to it but would never get past it for some reason.
Mine works but not with the TPU Assist Module. The Track Switch is a bit sensitive with the PTFE tubes. You have to fully insert them in. If one of the tubes is not well inserted the filament won’t pass through the track switch.
Well, it still doesn’t detect the E3D high flow nozzles correctly.
One thing I noticed is that after a print finished and you start another, the print completed screen does not go away, you have to manually remove it by clicking OK. Normally that screen goes away on the next print job.
I apologize for the delay. The changelog for this version is as follows:
Improvements
- Optimized the residual material estimation function and adjusted the calculation baseline to 1 kg.
Issue Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the cold pull display failed to return to the center position.
- Fixed an issue where support materials could not be selected when starting a print from the screen.
AI Spaghetti detection is a wee bit too sensitive. A very fine strand was floating around causing it to go into constant detection and stopping.
Is there a way to download beta firmware for an H2D I’m running off-line? I have 2 H2D printers, the cloud connected unit has received V01.03.65.00 update, I’d like to also install it on the offline unit. I’d prefer not to re-attach to the cloud and wait if at all possible. Thanks!
Afaik it’s not possible to download any beta manually.
Can someone copy the beta off of their printer?
I am using the h2d with the filament track switch and the beta firmware. The only problem I have encountered so far is when using the Bambu handy to assign nozzles in filament savings mode the print fails due to under extrusion or extruder overload error.
If I use Bambu studio or manually assign nozzles in Bambu handy everything works as normal but assigning nozzles manually in Bambu handy does not use the full functionality of the track switch as Bambu studio does. I’ve reported this through a ticket and a bug report, no fix yet.
How would you expect to do that? Afaik that’s not possible.
Problem I have isn’t so much it not identifying E3D nozzles, but rather if I select E3D on the printer/and in Bambu Studio, I pretty much can’t print any of my custom filaments because it tells me everything I have is an error condition and is incompatible with E3D. So just left it set to “High Flow”.
Does it write the beta firmware to the USB?
Or internal
So I got it working by shortening the tubes just a bit, but now it says feed resistance is too high, so I am going to have to rework my wall mounted AMS system
Agreed, it’s waaay too sensitive
