After three months being idle I’ve powered on my H2D again. And the printer loses all of its settings. It was like I’d powered on a new machine as the basic initialisation process has to be followed.
The H2D is the 2nd worst printer I’ve ever had. That is the reason that the usage of this machine is very low. On nearly every print another problem occurs. Broken filament, defects (last was the filament sensor), mixed-up colors, underextrusions, warping … this all happened.
I would never again buy such an expensive machine from any printer manufacturer. This machine is a failure and a disappointment at a glance.
So forget the promise: switch on, print and forget. In my case it is switch on, have problems, try to resolve them and after some time you don’t want to use this printer anymore. As there were many users reporting several issues I gave up the thought, that maybe I’m the only one and got a faulty machine.
The next time I would buy a Prusa machine. The company is located in Europe, and is well known for their good user support. And if there is a serious problem returns can be handled based on European law. Not on the Chinese ones.
So thank you Bambu Lab. You have lost one of your (formerly) very happy and satisfied customers. One that suggested people that were new to 3D printing to buy a Bambu Lab machine.
And after Bambu Lab has spread the market with so many new machines, the market price for a hardly used machine has dropped down to a very low level. And by the way, who wants to buy this piece of crap ? They will come back to me after testing the machine at home and maybe in the end the angry mob will burn down my house for getting such a “wonderful” machine.
So do I have to expect a complete loss of configuration data, every time after the machine has been powered of for longer than 8 weeks ?
Has someone experienced a similar behavior of the H2D ?
