I just received my new H2D today and as I unboxed it, I noticed that the front right portion of the right panel and the front right vertical frame are bent. Has anyone replaced these? (I see there is a wiki article on frame replacement, it looks very involved.) If so, how difficult was it? How long did it take you?
Has anyone had to ship back a brand new printer to Bambu Labs? What is the process like? How quickly does it go?
I took my A1 out of service to make space for the H2D, now I’m stuck with no ability to print while I await resolution or at least some indication which way we’re going. And this is too heavy to just sling around on a whim.
I wouldn’t go the extent of changing it, it’s a huge endeavour and you will never be sure that something else less visible is not damaged. I would just ask for a replacement under warranty.
From experienced users it seems BL will offer you 2 options, you ship it back, they will check it and then send you a replacement, it can take several weeks.
Second option is you pay for a new one that will ship immediately and you send the original back. You get your money back when they receive it and check it.
If you throw away your original packaging the second option also allows you to use the new printer packaging to send the old one back.
In any case, file a ticket right away.

Thank you. I did the second option. Its packaging also showed damage, but the printer seems to be working fine. I am having some minor issues, but I’ll discuss that elsewhere since it’s not a damage thing but a learning a new printer thing. (I have an A1 I’m replacing.)
