Just out of curiosity, does anyone see OD markings on the green shield? Asking because that looks like the dual band shields that also cover IR. Unless it’s been officially said, I’m hoping at least a low power IR module will be provided in the future.

except that the H2D laser isn’t 450nm, it’s 455nm +/- 5nm, which could be as long as 460nm.
Thanks muggles. That pretty much answers it for me indirectly despite the H2D-laser not having shipped. The lidar doesn’t need OD6. That is weird about the lower range though. ![]()
lidar? It says the height measurement is 850nm for the laser module, I’m assuming it’s a VCSEL and it shouldn’t need any protection at all given the duty cycle. If it’s just a camera & LED using structured light it is also going to be very low power.
I thought you were interested in a IR cutting module future add-on. I agree with you about the dual-band glass, looks like it to me also.
I am interested in the potential of a IR cutting module. I assumed the current listed IR spec was for a lidar carryover (I haven’t looked too closely at how it’s verifying its PA tuning to the servos), although the any other high res camera application of VCSEL would work just as well. Either like you said, don’t really require the any OD in the IR side, so there’s hope.
