I have been working with support on a problem I am having on my H2D left side Heater where the printer keeps stopping due to temperature overrun. Support has determined that it is the heating assembly and is sending me one but I would love to have another spare on hand but cannot seem to buy one on the US site. Am I not doing something right or just not seeing it? Can others select left side?
I see down at the bottom that it shows what comes with each side, but it does not let me actually select the left side…
Mine broke and been trying to get an ETA from support without luck. Ended up ordering a couple from AliExpress which said “original …”, hopefully they are.
I struggled with support explaining we can’t even choose « left » in the store so that we get notified when available. I had may be a half dozen back and forth conversation where they could not understand… I just quit
Couldn’t or pretended they couldn’t . For real, we are not in 2000, even with the most basic translator online you can perfectly get the message across . I’m really starting to think they are adopting the classic “oh we don’t understand what you mean therefore no issue exists , no war in ba sing se “
Well, that may be the only option. It finally just stopped completely, took the heater off and discovered that the wire is almost cut exactly where it tucks under the metal bracket at the back/bottom of the tool head. I suspect that I might just get the one from ALI before I even get another response from Bambu…and since you cannot buy them on BBL site (that amazes me), then I might as well order one since now my H2D is down and out!!
You can still use it with just the right nozzle. it’s a bit of a pain and easier with single colour prints. Just override the left nozzle to something different on the machine so they don’t match, that way in BambuStudio it gives you the option to do either only left or right nozzle print. You can try to turn off the various checks at the beginning of print and click resume once the abnormal temp detection happens. More importantly, if it enters the stage where it tries to heat up the left nozzle, just stop the job and re-submit it from BambuStudio. Most of the time it only takes two attempts and it starts the print and completes without issue.
