H2D Issue : Nozzle Temperature Fluctuations

So during the current print, I noticed the nozzle temperature is fluctuating from 245 which is set, all the way down to 240 then heats , goes to 249-250, drops again. This is with the right nozzle, ill check in a bit, when it finishes, if the same happens with the left nozzle.

Change your min/max nozzle temperature in your filament settings, if you have too much cooling it can also cause nozzle temp fluctuations. Usually a 10°C change isn’t too bad and is usually in range for the filament though.

Also good to check your nozzles by removing them and cleaning anything between the heat element, sensor, and nozzle.

10c is too much fluctuation actually, especially when you care about functional/rigid prints. Its not a 200 euro machine to “condone” fluctuations like that, it should be spot on. Ive been looking at all my klipper machines, after PID tuning theres no more fluctuation over 1-2 degrees and even that is only caused by excessive extrusion effectively cooling the nozzle. This is way off

so at 245, both nozzle behave the same, big fluctuations, overshoots and under. At 270 its stable in the range of 1 degree, which leads me to believe its a PID tuning issue. Anyone else noticed something similar?

Yeah that’s definitely an issue then, sorry I come from having an old Ender 3 so my standards are fairly low. If it’s a standard single nozzle print then it does sound like a PID tuning problem, I can check later to see if I encounter the same problem.

yes my left nozzle block can’t keep stable temp anymore at the point the print doesn’t start due to the nozzle not able to keep the 220.
It suddely jumped even to 300°, then it wait to cool, then it can’t keep the 220, go down to 217, start to heat again, jumps to 270, wait to cool and so on.
right nozzle is ok.

alrady opened a ticket.

This is 100% thermistor malfunctioning, I perfectly know because I have a Kobra 2 max lol.
