You need to choose the right side nozzle and adjust the speed settings accordingly, or instruct the printer to use the left nozzle for printing (in your case)

The cutaway image doesn’t seem to show the filament path being split. The Y-shaped pocket through that [presumably copper] part just increases the surface area to volume ratio, resulting in more through heating of the entire melt, which lowers heating time and thus increases throughput.
