H2D modifications

Just got a new H2D a few days ago for mass-production purposes and I want to know what H2D modifications optimize speed and quality. Many of the models I make are quite tall, many taller than wide, and I’ve heard recently about that the H2D makes too much Z-banding with taller prints after using it for a while. And before anyone asks, no. I could not find a video online about this kinda stuff and even if I did, the kind of videos I usually find on 3D printing don’t have the information I need.
Also I have a Biqu Glacier build plate coming soon for my H2D and A1 and I want to know if I chose the right smooth buildplate.

What filament you generally print with?

PLA for my architectural models, TPU and PETG for functional stuff (I’m getting my hands on nylon soon)

Me I’d alter the model, break it up vertically and assemble with glue/plastic weld. Architectural models aren’t typically “design for additive” and this is how I’d usually solve printability issue. Especially since they are usually a one-off product.
