I’ve had my machine for a week now and I’ve got my AMS on the right nozzle that I’ve been using since day 1.
I finished a print on the right nozzle then loaded a new new filament on my left nozzle with the spool holder.
I started a new print with my left nozzle however while the machine was parked and cooling down from it’s last print it had oozed filament and stuck to the right nozzle. I thought the startup sequence might clean both nozzles by default but nope - the ooze blocker got stuck half way and dragged around the stuck filament across the bed untill i paused the printer and cleaned it myself.
Is there a modification in the startup script i can use or did i not do something right? or is this a bug where the machine should remember the last nozzle and do a clean on startup?
I haven’t changed anything, and the only difference from your setup is that I’m using AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT on both nozzles.
However, mine does clean both nozzles at startup. Maybe the difference occurs when you load a filament manually, and it skips the cleaning process in that case?
Just a small reminder — if you manually calibrate PA/K, remember that the values are different for the left and right nozzle.
L0rdS474n are you using the AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT on both nozzles by manually switching the ptfe tubes or using some other fancy technique I dont know about?
Received my printer last week also and currently swapping and changing filaments and ptfe tubes like a yoyo depending on what I’m printing. I dont mind, its fun, but I’m worried I’m going to pull something loose or damage something eventually.

Quite possible it’s the manual load that’s done it.
Ive watched my start sequence a couple of times since and I can confirm 100% the inactive nozzle doesn’t clean or head up.
If I swap to the other nozzle then the opposite inactive one definitely doesn’t clean either.
I don’t have an AT does this auto load into your nozzle for you?
I just have the ams2 on my right.

Not my setup but you can get 4 into 1 PTFE adaptors to feed the 1 nozzle if you, bambu and AliExpress have them.
Not the same units — I have different AMS setups for each toolhead.
Two AMS2 Pro units are connected, one to each toolhead, and three AMS HT units are connected to the left toolhead, with one AMS HT connected to the right.
The AMS HT is a single AMS unit with a higher drying temperature. It can load automatically when configured that way, but when I use it for TPU, I run both the HT and the printer through the bypass.
