Anyone print one of these yet?

Anyone print one of these yet?

not worthy of the fuss i think.
most of the time you’re switching the rolls, not complete amss. because if you switch the ams you would also have to remap it in the firmware.
and even if you do switch amss often, you only need a at most 4 ptfe couplers which costs like 4 australian dollars on aliexpress to do essentially the same thing. you can even just print 4 couplers and it’s gonna work fine as well.
[H2D → 4 in 1 hub → short ptfe] → [coupler → long ptfe to AMS]
no added frictions what’s so ever.
However I know overengineering with 3d printing and magnets are fun ![]()
If you have questions, why not ask the guys in the comments of the model site -with pictures of their prints? ^^
I haven’t had a chance to test it, but according to the documentation the H2D automatically determines which AMS is connected to which port, no need to remap anything.
i was about to say you’ll see but i refrained from it ![]()
it’s actually more than that. you need to remap it in the printer settings, there’re two modes, automatic and manual. manual is quicker in this case. automatic takes about a minute.
but then again, that minute makes this model totally worthless
