H2D other Build Plates

Mine showed it arrived at the Los Angeles sorting facility yesterday. I have no idea why it hasn’t been delivered yet.

But show us photos, too :sunglasses:

Reporting back:
Adhesion: Strong as one would wish, very thicc plate (0.8mm, thicc!)
Surface: Not my type, too oily, and the part remains sticky on the bottom surface, even after removing from the plate

My Kdeavi arrived today, but the printer can’t recognise the plate. Keeps saying no build plate detected. Anyone else having the same issue? Bit strange as the code looks correct and it’s in the right place.

How most polyurea plates behave. It actually looks amazing for certain designs (like signs and light boxes for instance) as it gives off a sealed/coated look and feel.

Does anyone know how heat-resistant the coating on these plates is? (Frostbite and Kdeavi) I found it in the specifications of the Geco (40°C) and Fystec (120°C) plate but not for these two. I am just trying to find out if they would survive the high temperature bed leveling on the H2D.

Well, the Kdeavi says you can print abs on it up to 100°c. I’ve printed PET-CF on them in the past at 80°c no problem.

Are you using the textured plate setting?

So I’m pretty impressed. This print failed on layer 73 out of 75 once there was a little blob on the top and it started the second top layer .The cone starts at 2 mm at the plate and widened up to 20 mm at the top. And it is 75 mm tall. I printed it at 70° C to try to do standard settings for a textured plate. It did not recognize the plate. I’m curious if it has something to do with the missing triangle next to the print code. It feels nothing like my supertack, and I can guarantee my supertack was never this sticky feeling. It’s kind of a smooth textured finish but feels sticky like soft rubber. I’m not going to do anymore test prints other than real items I need.

Print object:
2mm-20mm cone, 75mm tall.
PETG HF, 2 walls, 10% Gyroid
Plate at 70c

Finally got to test mine. It’s doing the same thing. I turned off plate detection.

I’ve been waiting them to restock on Aliexpress. Is that where yall are buying it? (KDEAVI)

Odd it looks like the pulled the plate for the H2D, I am not able to find it under that seller. Is there another seller on Aliexpress?

It’s just that seller. Ali express don’t show listings that are out of stock. Just wait a little bit. It will become searcheable once they replenish stock.

It’s sold out.

25 character limit

That’s a really good theory! I bet that’s exactly why.

Wow it starts at 2mm?? That is impressive!

I didnt think it would make it 1/3 of the way through. I was using it as a test to see how it would handle tree supports. I was supprised. Once it got near the top it would wobble a little when the nozzle would do a wipe, but it was still holding on another 15 mm in height.

I would be really interested in ABS prints with these plates … I love the CryoGrip Frostbite for PLA/PETG, but I need also one for ABS ^^
