Problem, I have apart with an embedded 18mm hex pocket and M10 hole. Historically on other printers I’ve been able to print the overhangs of the top of that hex without any issue. I cannot get it to work with this filament so far.
Given:
H2D, current firmware.
Siraya Tech PET-CF filament, dried per their directions
The orientation of the problem spot is not changeable
Test part is a cutout of the real much larger part. This is the only problem area.
I have successfully ran manual LA and Flow tests.
I have tried BL PET-CF profiles.
I am currently using a filament profile provided by Siraya Tech.
I have made changes to every setting I can think of that would affect it. I’ve gone slower, I’ve gone cooler, changed fan speeds, turned Aux on and off, changed part orientation, added multiple test parts to ensure more layer cooling. I’ve changed layer heights and set variable layer heights. I’ve lowered volumetric speeds (to force slower), I’ve used settings from successful PETG profiles that lower all speeds. I’ve redried filament.
The problem is the left side of the overhang is not printing right. Sometimes I’ve gotten the right side decent, not perfect but better than left side.
Siraya says to print it at 300 for proper adhesion. I ran a temp tower and that looked a little hot.
