Trying to get my new printer setup (which is amazing I will add) and I’m trying to activate Go Live. A popup tells me that Virtual Camera Tools is required for the task and asks if I want to install. When I click OK it says “Failed to download the plug-in. Please check your firewall settings and vpn software and retry” I have confirmed in firewall that bambu studio is granted access through windows firewall. Have also restarted the PC and tried again. I’ve disabled the windows defender firewall and hasnt helped. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

I’m experiencing the same issue. I’m trying to use the “Go Live” feature to use the camera in OBS.
It seems the download of the Plugin isn’t working as it results instantly in an error.
I followed the troubleshooting guide provided (3DTech mentioned it here too, thank you), and it looks like there’s an issue with the API call used by Bambu Studio to retrieve the plugin for the specific version.
The API response returns without the required resources data.
Here’s the API response:

I also tried to manually construct the URL for the plugin based on the version number (02.01.00.59), but that didn’t work either.
It seems there is currently an issue with the plugin distribution for this version of Bambu Studio.
May be you can try the 2 step process offered by bambu to locate the url of the network plug-in but look at the result to determine the cameratools plug-in package instead.
Are there any news on this topic. I have a similar problem which i am not able to download the camera tools plugin due to firewall restrictions in my company. Is it possible to download this plugin in the same way as the network plugin via the internet browser??
I found that the issue was fixed with the next Bambu Studio software update. Once that was done, it uploaded the plug-in.
@SupportAssistant is it possible to download the Camera Tools plugin in the same way as it is possible with the network plugin descriped here: Failed to Get Network Plugin | Bambu Lab Wiki via a internet browser?

I too am having an issue where camera tools are not being downloaded/installed on my Mac. I am using Bambu Studio ver 2.1.1.52
I copied the cameratools folder (at the root of Bambu Studio in (windows) c:\users"USERNAME"\appdata\roaming\bambustudio) and put it here:
philch.free.fr/cameratools.zip
Try just putting it in there and restart bambu studio to see if GoLive option has appeared and you can stream the video. I checked and could not find any files in bambustudio registering it but I did not check registry. It might work just as is.
EDIT: If it’s not enough try also to copy bambusource.dll and Live555.dll from cameratools folder in plugins folder of bambustudio.
Thank you very much for your answer! Unfortunately because i need this piece of software in a company i would need an officialy download source from bambulab. Maybe @SupportAssistant may help out??

It is not possible to submit a ticket because it is not possible for me to upload any files to the ticket form on your webside, i always get an upload failed error on both picture and log files. If i do not upload any file i am not able to submit a ticket…
You can choose to open an “Other” ticket which does not require a log file.
Or, to open a General ticket.

I had this problem in my original install of Studio. Uninstalling Bambu Studio and reinstalling fixed the issue for me.
I think i got the problem now and it sits approximately 60 cm infront of the Screen. 
I always tried to start the video stream with the switch marked in pink i the screenshot. But if you want to have live video from the printer cavity you just have to push the play butten in lower left corner, maked in yellow… Does anybody know what the “Live-Übertragung starten” button does?
The 2 switches on top have 2 different functions, the first one if switched on will record the full video of your print, not just the timelapse, on your USB stick. If you have a USB stick installed, I would suggest turning it on. If you have an issue during printing it will be a lot easier to determine the point of failure than the timelapse only. Note that it consumes a lot of space so use it only if required and if you have a large capacity stick.
The second one is the virtual camera switch, the one this topic is about. When you switch it on, it is possible to stream you video and you can display it full screen using VLC for instance.
