I have an H2D with NO AMS ( just the 2 external spool holders ). Printed lots of parts, but now I wanted to use the second head to print supports using a different material ( ASA ). I have the two materials set up in the slicer and the slice looks correct, I also see the nozzle change in the Gcode where it should be, it’s like the machine isn’t reading the gcode correctly. When I start printing it’s just printing using the right nozzle only and is printing the supports ( should be from the left nozzle ) and the main body of the part all with one material. I have a support ticket going with Bamboo but it’s been almost 2 weeks, each day they ask did I do this, send us this file and that file, it seems like they have no answers, everything they tell me to do in the slicer settings etc I’ve already done correctly. Has anyone else had this problem or any ideas what I might be missing?

Yes, the support settings as you noted, Bamboo asked me to verify them I ran another print using their slicer settings and had the same results. Attached is the project file.
from what I see it is ok support interface is printet with the other filament. so it is right the first layers are made by the same filament

Bambu support said they saw no problems and told me to update the H2D firmware, they don’t seem to have an answer. After updating still the same problem along with an error now saying extruder motor overloaded. Filament is extruding without any problems. Here are a couple of pics of the gcode where it messes up, does it look correct? Also, during the start up where it cleans the nozzle etc it doesn’t seem to do anything with the left nozzle.
Still no help from Bamboo, they had me slice and run PLA and PLA, PA6 and PLA, still no change. I did notice what appears to be a problem though. Just before the first nozzle change happens I see the other nozzle start to heat up, at this point it should make the change but continues printing with the first nozzle, however, that nozzle starts cooling ( thinking it is using the other nozzle ) and causes a clog and extruder overload error. Has anyone else encountered anything even similar to this that could point me in the right direction, I’m at my wits end with this thing.
OK, so I figured it out. I usually click file> export Gcode> place on a memory stick and print on the H2D which works great for prints using a single nozzle. I can’t believe Bambu couldn’t figure this out from all the files I’ve sent them. I had a friend send my a known good dual nozzle print Gcode file and it became obvious I needed to export the file differently. I should have used file > export plate- sliced file.
Are you just that worried about sending it through wifi that you manually carry it to the printer instead of just being connected to the printer in bambu studio and starting the print that way?
Seems like a huge hassle vs a few mouse clicks.
Yes, I have the printer isolated from the internet as our company requires it. I believe the compromised chips in the H2D have been replaced in the H2D Pro to address the security concerns.
