I have a H2D with not much use in that I printed about 2kg of PLA and PETG. I don’t know how many hours because the printer is disassembled now.
When printing last month, the tool head started to vibrate rather severely, and the printer shutdown. Reading the wiki, I checked the toolhead for XY movement and re-lubricated both XY bar and rods.
The printer printed one more simple print and then failed again in the same way. Calibration tests resulted in the same behavior - severe toolhead vibration and the calibration shutdown.
I submitted a ticket and after several weeks Bambu suggested that I replace both X and Y motors. Since the instructions said to be careful in removing the tight motor screws, I bought a new US made hardened hex wrench long enough to reach the screws. Even with a significant amount of care and downward pressure, I stripped the screw heads. I’m not sure if the screws are hardened and I’m sure they have thread lock on them.
Since this occurred on the left motor, I’m afraid to attempt this on the right motor.
I replied to my open ticket US260314905001 several times and Bambu no longer responds.
I’m not too keen on attempting to drill out the screws. It would require a rather long thin drill bit that would be difficult to find. In addition, I would be concerned about drilling out part of the motor mount causing more problems. In any case, I don’t think I have the skills to get this done.
Suggestions? By the way, the printer is less than a year old and is still under US warrantee. The authorized reseller where I purchased the H2D and AMS won’t help.

Since your printer is under warranty, I’d avoid drilling or forcing the screws that could make things worse. I’d keep pushing Bambu support (maybe try email or social media) and ask the reseller to escalate. Document everything (tickets, photos) so warranty replacement is easier.
