H2S has been printing very well, even with PETG. Since about noon, when I try to print, the printer fails with an “Auto Bed Leveling” error. I went to the calibration menu, and it failed in that menu too.
Thoughts?
Had the same thing the other day. Seems a glob of filament was stuck near the nozzle triggering early bed detection and the error.
Yea, it was weird. The end of the nozzle had a little bit of white PTEG on it. Not much really. I ran my flangies all around the top of the screws looking and feeling for debris. I didn’t find or feel anything. I heated the nozzle up and used a brass brush to make it shine. Between the two, it started to bed level okay. I swear I had a lot worse filament on the end of the nozzle before.
Now it’s having a problem switching filament in a multi-color print not able to feed the filament all the way in. It gets caught either in the buffer or at the nozzle itself. If I get the end of the filament it is a bit stretched out. Nip it off and then it usually feeds again. This seems random and has stopped a few over-night prints with PETG. I never had that printing ABS or PLA. I swear the H2S does NOT like PETG. Heck my POS K2 Plus prints PETG better than PLA, and the opposite is true for the H2. I am using RFID Bambu PETG. Bambu either has bad basic PTEG or bad configurations for it.
