H2S clicking noise X direction movement - help solve this issue

Support is saying both motors are faulty. I don’t think so because, I can hear the 2 left idlers on the x axis making the noise and not the motors - but they are the experts, they know better. Anyway, they (Bambu Lab Support) want me to replace the motors on a brand new machine while risking to damage other components (acc to their WIKI big red paragraph )…well… I don’t think so. I’m trying to get a replacement because I found other quality issues with this unit (belt dust around idlers in the back, metal parts that were painted probably with an edding marker which, I could wipe off with alcohol -

see picture). Let’s see how this goes.

Beeing my first Bambu Lab printer, I am wondering how can they deliver something like this to their customers??!!??

I come from automotive industry where something like this is a big fat NO GO! Maybe I am just used to good quality parts, however their products are not cheap either…

That can always happen!
Don’t try to repair it yourself, it will be a never-ending story.
Insist on a replacement under warranty.

congrats ur h2s is saved

not yet still need to find an agreement with them, at least they have admitted there is an issue so this is good

Pack a couple of idlers/pulleys with that

The unit was replaced by Bambu Lab- new Unit is running now (cca 140 at this time with no issue - last time at cca 220hours the noise was there) and if I don’t update this post anymore it means everything is fine.

My H2D just started doing this, I think it’s the rear right corner idler. Tiem to email BBL I guess.
