my H2C (2 months old) has recently started having trouble loading filament.
When retracting the filament, the small wheel spins continuously clockwise. It seems to be trying to pull the filament out of the extruder.
This happens regardless of whether I feed the filament through the AMS or the external spool holder – the result is the same.
If I manually feed a piece of filament (using the extruder control on the display), it grabs the filament and extrudes it successfully.
The gears and the extruder mechanism are clean and free of obstructions. I’ve opened and cleaned everything in that area, but found no significant dirt or debris.
As a test, I removed the nozzle and the PTFE tube and manually fed a piece of filament from the bottom. The extruder grabbed it and fed it a short distance upwards, but then it jammed.
Could a sensor be faulty?
Is there such a thing as a sensor test?
Can someone help me with this?
