Ok, just recently bought a new H2S print to replace an 11 year old Makerbot Replicator 2x, and it’s great. I’m mainly using the printer for designing speaker boxes. Every time I print part of a speaker box I get this weird line around the box in the same place. I’m printing with ABS from Bambu using their own filament. I have included photos of the box and one of the model itself. Any suggestions about fixing this would be helpful.
Guess it is the line where the speed / layer time changes (wall thickness).
Make a chamfer on the inner edges to have a smoother transition of the speed/layer time?
Or as well on the outer side (but that changes design).
Does this line correlate with any other structure in the box such as where the bottom layers end or other internal part?
Would this only effect something with really thin walls? Just done a test cube hollowed out to try and see if it will help op but the speeds are all the same which surprised me (2mm wall thickness)
I believe the line is at the same level as where the interior wall starts. I have rounded both the inside and outside edges as seen in the line drawing above.
Just printed mine and can confirm all the speeds were the same on the slicer, literally the whole thing one colour apart from the top surface as I ironed it.
As expected in reality I get the same hull line.
Pretty annoying as I can’t change the internal hole to have a taper either.
Is this a similar thing to yours op?
Nothing to do with speed, but more to do with Layer Time.
On the level where the bottoms of the pockets are printed, your layer time is significantly longer. This is causing your line in the part.
The shrinkage of those infill layers has also effect on the result.
Similar to the Benchy Hull line.

Is there much else I can do to resolve it for the future?
Avoiding sharp transitions between walls and horizontal surfaces will definitely help.
So a large radius or a tilted floor will reduce the effect.
But just have a look at this video. Hopefully that gives you a good understanding.
