In a print over 4 days and 816 filament changes, it stopped after about 600 filament changes when the purge chute was clogged.
It also smashed dried purge filament into the nozzle cleaner, and skipped on belts(or steppers skipped steps) so the print was offset.
I know now that if I unplug the power it will do an X/Y zeroing on resume, but I wish there was a button in the UI to do this.
If the head for some reason is obstructed, it would be good to re-zero and resume print. #feature request!
Haven’t had any issues yet (knock on wood) but I think on something with that many filament changes it would be a good idea to bump up the AI detection. I’m sure you know there’s a setting for build up in the chute, maybe bump that up a bit more.
Would be better to be annoyed by false positives than lose a print like that. I feel for you.
Ended up re-slicing from the interrupted layer and restart, turned out OK in the end.

To conclude this for now, the tip worked well! Havent had any false positives, and it saved the print twice.
I still think @BambuLab should add a feature to zero the X-Y axis when the printer is paused for any reason. A button in the screen menu would suffice.
