H2S with multiple AMS2P & HT

New H2S user here: I see the H2S can support up to 4 AMS 2 Pro’s and 8 HT’s: how exactly would one go about setting that up?

For now I have one AMS2Pro, I’m currently looking to add one more AMS2Pro and one HT, and I am also thinking “down the road”.

So for my immediate needs, I would like to have 2 AMS2Pro, 1 HT, and ideally the capability to run one external spool (hanging off the side of the H2S?)

If you put “Bambulab AMS Setup” into Google and look at the pictures, you will get a pretty good idea of it :slight_smile:

The H2S doesnt have the second inlet, but there is the idea :wink: Youll need 4-to-1 Adapter. Doesnt have to be the BL one (im pretty unhappy with it).

Okay, so for now I’m safe ordering qty1 4-to-1 adapter, the additional AMS2P, one HT, and I’ll still have a port open for the external spool. Later as I expand it’s just a matter of additional 4-to-1’s. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t dead-ending myself by starting smaller and scaling up down the line.

I do believe the H2S does have 2. My printer arrived on September 18. I am attaching a picture of the back.

I am also hoping to find out if I can use an external filament at the same time, but I don’t know if this printer can do that.

Does anyone know if it can be upgraded to a dual nozzle?

Since BL naturally used largely the same chassis, the H2D and H2S are very similar – but not identical. There’s a reason why there’s a plug in the second inlet :smiley: You can’t use both at the same time like with the H2D.

Since you can convert the H2D to an H2C, and IN THEORY you should also be able to convert the H2S to an H2C (by installing half of the H2D parts first), you should also be able to convert an H2S to an H2D in theory. By replacing all the expensive parts that make up an H2D.

But as BL itself writes about the other conversions… just because it’s possible doesn’t mean it makes sense. From an economic point of view, it’s better to sell the H2S and buy the device you want straight away.

What exactly do you mean by that?
For H2D/H2S, the buffer is no longer needed (it is integrated), so only the 4-to-1 adapters are used here.
