Alright this may be a bit long winded but I’ll try to compress it… Started having an extruder issue about a month ago(skipping and grinding noise). Reached out to support, possibly the buffer, sent replacement, installed, still persisted.
Checked all extruder gears for wear to create possible slippage, no damage, bambu sent a replacement extruder, installed(the tool head ribbon cable is a nightmare to re seat btw)
Got eddy sensor high frequently error, re seated nozzle, that went away and now im getting a Z Axis Homing failure…
Can’t calibrate or print, and print bed doesn’t even get close to touching the nozzle for Homing. Goes half way up, stops, lowers the bed again and fails… still working with support but just wanted to reach everyone and see if anyone has encountered the same thing or has any ideas to cause or a fix I may not have thought of!!
Stupid thought, but I’ve run into it before. Check for debris on top of the Z axis nuts. I’m sure you already have at this point, but sometimes its the simplest solution. Sorry I’m not more help, but figured i’d throw it out there.

I assume you’ve done a full power down and up cycle? What happens if you manually move the bed until it’s just a few mm away from the nozzle and then ask it to home?
Mine used to do this whenever I was trying to do a cold pull, common problem oddly enough.
I actually managed to correct the problem, ot was silly really, I had put shorter screws in the eddy current sensor and it was causing it to droop forward causing a misalignment in the gap for the pressure sensor so the machine would automatically throw a z axis error. I swapped them out for the proper ones and immediately did a calibration and test print with no issues!
