H2s Z axis Noise normal?

The printer has about 200 hours of runtime and has been making this noise since the beginning. My other printers don’t sound like this.

The noise only occurs when I move the Z-axis downward.

Is this normal? Has anyone experienced the same thing, or could something already be defective? Thx for help

I hear only normal sound, what sound do you think is abnormal?
Check for filament debris in the threads, that can make some noise and even fire some error messages.

The printer is completely clean. I clean it after every print and always check for any loose filament or debris in the bearings, so that’s definitely not the issue.

What I mean is a slight crackling or “scratchy” noise when I move the bed downward. It almost sounds like a cable rubbing somewhere, but it’s not the cable. The noise is clearly coming from the Z lead screws.

I hear the normal noise but I do also hear a little of the “crackling”. Maybe try to lubricate the lead screws and rods

I’ve already lubricated the linear rails and the lead screws multiple times. :man_shrugging:

Is there anything under the printer that may be rubbing on the z axis belt or pulleys?

The noise is definitely coming from inside the printer. If I close the door and listen near the bottom where the belt runs, the sound is not coming from there, even though that was initially suspected.

When I open the door and listen closely inside, it’s clearly coming from the Z lead screws.

Also, if I slightly lift the build plate at the front left or right, where there is minimal play, I can reproduce the exact same noise. It’s like a crackling or a kind of “greasy squishing” sound.

What’s confusing is that none of my other printers have this. I only had something similar once on another unit, but in that case the Z-axis was actually misaligned and much louder, so I returned it.(U1)

I think is normal Sound ? My p2s have the Same Noise … I have do more grease on the p2s z axis and now he make the Same Noise …
