Hall effect sensor error, can't switch nozzle

It’s been a bad week for my H2D. I was constantly getting ‘overloaded extruder motor’ errors, so threw a ticket out to BL. Through their wiki recommendation, I tore apart the hotend to check for any jammed filament. I found… nothing. Everything looked like I would expect a 3 week old machine to look like (ie, pretty much brand new, dust free). So put it back together, fired it back up and was greeted by a horrific noise from the extruder. Man, there’s nothing worse than trying to solve a problem, and the solve creates a new one -__-

I took it apart again and checked out everything. Check out the attached video. I know it’s in pieces here, but the noise is the same as when it was fully put back together.

Man nothing more frustrating than adding on another problem on top of the old one and those support tickets are frustrating. You wait days for a response then finally get a response that is barely anything and have to reiterate the problem and more waiting for another response. Do they even have people who are all technically inclined and know the machine? I really do not think so with the response I’ve gotten. It reminds me of the old support where it’s just a technician going through what steps are on a computer screen and it takes numerous calls before reaching an actual technician.

Bambu support is sending me a brand new extruder. It gets here tomorrow. Man, their support is great.

Same Problem woth my 3,5 month old H2D. I hope the support is fast.

I haven’t had a problem since swapping the extruder for the replacement. It’s a pain to have to do, but I’m now very happy with my H2D. It’s the printer I expected it to be.

OK, there send me a new Dual Extruder Unit. Do you have change only the Dual Extruder Unit - or the complete H2D Tool Head with X-Axis Assembly?
