I have purchased the hardened nozzle and gear kit to help me try printing PETG-CF.
Can you advise if I need to change the nozzle each time I swap back to normal PETG, PLA etc or can I run it all through the hardened nozzle ?

There is no need to change it back, you can always use the hardened nozzle.
The printer comes with a pair of SS .4 mm nozzles when purchased new. Subsequently you can only purchase HS nozzles in .4mm, .6mm, .8mm and you can only buy the .2mm nozzle in SS
The stainless nozzles will wear out more quickly than hardened.
This is Bambu Lab brand nozzles as of the last time I looked at nozzle options in the store a couple of weeks ago.
