Has Bambu Lab added H2D plotter support without the laser?

Hello,

I’ve been eyeing the cutting upgrade kit for the H2D for a while now, and I’m not sure if it’ll be compatible with my non laser H2D.

The cutting upgrade kit store page says that the H2C variant requires the Birds eye camera and the laser module for calibration?

Do I need the Birds eye camera and/or the laser module in order to cut and draw with the H2D? It does mention that “Support for calibration without the Laser Module will be added in a future firmware update”, but it’s been like that for over a year.

You don’t need birds eye camera and/or laser module. The cutting module works without it since about 10 months or so. Only if you upgrade the optional birds eye camera, you needed the laser module with old firmware. But this has also been solved.
