I barley think that is something you want to know, but i will tell you my Story of the amacing delivery service GEL.
In the night, exacly at midnight from wednesday to thursday i got a SMS. I only could read it in the morning of thursday at about 5:40. There was a link where i should make an appointment for delivery date and the time, as soon as possible.
I tried to do that, but it did not work, because the booking code in the link was no recognized.
At least there was a phone number added in that SMS. At about 6:20 o clock, as i arrived at my company i called that number.
A very helpful guy picked up (from the delivery service with the name ācargoeā) and he told me, that he is sorry for that SMS, but the SMS was send to early and he knows that happens sometimes. He will try to solve that problem and call me back when he knows more.
At about 08:30 he called me back, told me that the link workes now and the earliest delivery date is thuseday between 08:00 and 14:00.
As he told me that, my answer was exactly like that: āargā¦ i wish it would be soonerā
Before i could say more, he said: You know what, i call the delivery driver, maybe it is possible to deliver on friday, and i will call you back"
Me: āthank you so much thats realy kind of you, i will tell the delivery guy he should share the tips he gets with youā
He called me back about 10:00 or something and told me that it is no problem that the delivery driver could make a stop at my location tomorrow (friday) between 08:00 and 14:00.
I thanked him very much for his encouragement. I also told him, that it would be very importent that i get a call at least 20 minutes before. Worst case 12 minutes, because if i go over 200 km/h on the highway i can be at home in 11 to 12 minutes. I tested that. (trust me that time is correct for the 36km)
At 11:55 on the same day got a phone call from a woman, who started to talk exactly like that before i could say anything else: " ohh i see you already have an delivery apointment today between 08:00 and 14:00"
I told her: āƤƤm, i dont think so, the friendly guy on the phone told me, that tomorrow on friday is the delivery date, because the delivery driver can make a stop at my location on that day.ā
She said: āno, no, i can see it clearly, it is assigned for todayā¦ā
I answerd: āokayā¦ also fine for me, but please, pretty please, just call me 30 minutes beforeā
She told me, she has to clarify that and that she will call me backā¦
That was the last thing i heard from herā¦
Never got a phone call or the Printer on thursdayā¦
Soo, friday morning came aroundā¦
I had a lot to do at my company and only could call the number in the SMS as i managed a small break.
There was a woman on the phone. Very friendly and helpfulā¦
After i asked her, if she could maybe tell me what is going on now, and if i get my package today, she told meā¦ i should have get it delivered yesterday according to her systemā¦
I told her the story above in detailā¦
She was the first person to tell me her name, and only because i told her that the woman yesterday also said she would call me back and did not.

So i continued my work at my company
(did i tell you that i had a lot to do at my company that day?)
Friday i could get home sooner, and was at home at 13:20 o clock. I tried to call the woman back that gave me her name, and told me that she for sure would call me back,ā¦what she did not.
As i called the number, i only got to the mobile box, like her phone was not powered onā¦
Okay, no problemā¦ i called the phone number from the friendly guy, that called me the day beforeā¦
I also only got to the mobile box, like the phone was powered down.
I thoughtā¦ no stress, i still have the main number from the SMS i gotā¦
I also instandly got to the mobile box as i tried to call that number, just that this time the mobile box was full and even if i wanted to, i could not leave a message thereā¦
Okayā¦ so what nowā¦
Lets try to call āGELā delivery serviceā¦
I tried to tell my storry aboveā¦, but they told me that does not help them, because they work with the delivery service āOntime logisticsā in Austria (remember the delivery service i talked to was ācargoeā). They tried to connect me to that delivery company in Austriaā¦
(Wont talk in detail about that experience, i got disconnected twice while they tried to connect me to there partner company āOntime logisticā in Austria)
After i called there again, because of the disconnect, they gave me the phone number of āOntime logisticsā that is there partner for Austria.
This time it was a man. (the third call to gel there was a man). I called that number he told me.
I was in the waiting line for 24 minutesā¦ twice, before i got disconnected.
The third time i got to a mobile box that told me, i was calling them outside the working hoursā¦
I thoughtsā¦ shā¦ happensā¦
What nowā¦
I googled that company āOntime logisticsā and i found 4 places they have around my country Austria.
I also compared the number they gave me with all those locations, and the number did not match.
I called 3 of the closest locations and in all of them, i only got to the mobile box with the information that i call them outside the working hoursā¦
Now, i have no printer, can not book a delivery time and have no plan whats going onā¦
My only conclusion is that āGELā works with āOntime logisticsā in Austria. This company works with the company āCargoeā what is also settled in Austria. But mentioned in the delivery SMS there is also the company āGoodcang Logistics gmbhā. I still have no plan how that company is connected to those above.

The company āCargoeā has only a 2,5 stars rating on google.

How do you think it would works if the package is damaged? Who would be responsible?
āGELā, āOntime logisticsā, āCargoeā, or maybe āGoodcang Logistics gmbhā? My story is not relevant for Bambu lab, but to know that if they want compensation for a damaged delivery package from the delivery company and there are at lest 4 companys involved to fight with, that would be someting that is important for them.

I wonder if anyone in the Netherlands has already received their H2D and how the delivery process went. How did they inform you and which company delivered the package?
And thereā¦ suddenly 2 hours after my previous post, I get a call from a GEL driver (German guy + van), that he is outside my door.
He agreed to wait for me so I can drive from work to home (about 20 min) and even helped putting it in the houseā¦ Friendly driver, but GEL could work on their communication.

Mine says that itās delivered (since last friday) while Iāve not received anythingā¦ Today iāve called GEL and after more than 30 minutes on hold they told me they needed to speak with the driver. Havenāt heard back from them, so going to call again tomorrow.
From Netherlands btw, donāt even want to look up how much iāve paid for this amazing service!

As delivery time was announced to be April, 8th, I sent an eMail early this morning requesting confirmation for the date. Well, guess what ā¦ completely incommunicado.
Youāll normally get a phone call from Viva Xpress Logistics (+32 2 752 11 11) to make an appointment for delivery. They called me last Friday for a delivery today.

@Sander Since when was your order in the status āIm Avisierungsprozessā? Also waiting for my order in NLā¦ Hasnāt changed status since last Thursday and has been in the Avisierungsprozess status since last Wednesday.
On a side note, as much as I love the package labels, it isnāt a very wise move to have non-discreet packaging. Should be a plain box. Too many porch pirates.
Iām actually curious if FedEx called me to convince me to refuse the package so they could ātotal lossā at the employees benefit. Is that a thing?

Cheers, that was helpful. I was even able to track the package on their website: āOn holdā. What I suspect, is that they may have tried to reach me by phone ā¦ but thatās a bit of a problem. I just switched operators (let me clarify that, Iām trying to switch operators for a month now) and as a result, I cannot be reached by phone at the moment. So, I sent them an eMail ā¦ to be continued I guess.
On a sidenote, whatās up with all these delivery companies? Either they are unreachable, have websites dating back to the beginnings of the Internet, have support that is non-existant ā¦ They donāt inform you of delivery dates/times. Seems to be a global problem but it s*cks like hell ā¦

I also should get the printer today.
But they told me that also last thursday, and again on Fridayā¦
Than i was told that they could not find the Printer and they should have contacted me about that. So i got the new delivery date for today.
Maybe this time they will tell me the delivery driver forgot to pick up my printer?
