When i see this page, i see printing profiles below, and they are:
PLA Basic supports PETG HF.3mf
PETG HF supports PLA Basic.3mf

if i am printing the project in PETG “basic” (overture PETG), and trying to use PLA as supports, would i use the PETG Basic supports PLA? or PLA Basic supports PETG basic?
and what does this profile actually do for me, because like i said, it really just seems like im dealing with an issue of it printing the first PETG layer perfectly, then when it comes to switching to the PLA, it changes, and the moment the PLA goes into the extruder, it starts clicking and refusing to extrude “properly” to continue, even though i see the PLA coming out of the nozzle…
Ultimately, it ends up making me teardown the extruder and removing a tiny 1-2cm filament piece, and occasionally a “chopped” bit thats the size of a sharpie tip from inside of the gear of the extruder.
I’ve tried to crank up the heat to 260 or anything to maybe heat it and force purge whatever tiny bit of PETG that might be residual in there that might stop it from extruding or coming out properly, but every single time, it cools the nozzle to about 220, but during filament change, i’ve noticed that the nozzle drops below 175, then after about 30 seconds to a minute, it heats to about 220-245 (245 after i tried to insert a custom filament Gcode to try to keep the temp up) and even then, it seems the machine/AMS2 firmware code is superseding any of the custom filament gcode i’ve tried to put in for “Filament_start” code. ■■■■, it was even ignoring any manual temperature settings or controls, which i understand if i am adjusting things mid print, but still.
There HAS to be a way to do this with a single nozzle machine, and for this to be such an issue im having that i’ve seen other people do with ease…there HAS to be something im doing wrong here…at least i hope its just me, and i can figure this out.
