It comes with one.
I wonder if the pricing was more about the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing.
People constructing the website are not the ones setting pricing. Then things like choosing your pricing between Euro’s, Pounds, Dollars etc throws another wrench in the gears as that is likely a module bought by the back-end web developers and not something developed in house.
If they had tried to take into account the fluctuating daily exchange rates, along with the exponential sales growth over the past year, it seems like the chances of messing things up along that chain were high.
You had back-end developers, marketing and sales in the classic business context, along with executives that dictate to the sales and marketing people. “Hey Sales and Marketing, We, the executive team have decreed there be a sale. Make it happen.”
You haven’t seen pricing abuse until you look at what Amazon does 24/7, 365 days a year.
Im not sure if this is relevant, but I just purchased the X1C with AMS($349) and filament(about $1400) and don’t remember if the black friday special. I went to order 3 more AMS units as part of the $299 special ($50off @). Wondering if anyone else noticed that they weren’t charged $50 shipping on large orders containing AMS purchases but now the special is $50 off (but now charge $50 for shipping so net is the same except for tax on AMS unit) Ive only been purchasing from them for a month and not sure if this is a common sales practice.
I’m guessing you are in Australia.
In the U.K., we are charged delivery fees for printers and AMS units no matter how many we buy, anything else about £45 (the threshold) doesn’t attract a delivery charge. So if I ordered a few filaments, no delivery charge, if I order one AMS, there is a delivery charge.
£8 delivery charge per AMS here. I suspect AUS gets far higher charges for most things.
I NOTICed the same here in the US on the west coast of California. Purchased one AMS in large order at $350 no delivery fee I believe. Now there is a $50 off sale but they now charge $50 for delivery for each unit (wanted to purchase 3) so the net is the same. Shady.
Purely for interest, the AMS delivery charge is still £8 it always has been in the U.K.
Same here, I believe in the US, the AMS delivery fee was 15-18 dollars, not the 50 bucks stated. This was also purchased during the black Friday sale.
Printers are generally 35 bucks shipping.
All other items, accessories, filament, are shipped free on orders over 49 bucks.
Do you have any inside information about any upcoming sales? I desperately need a second P1S. And it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if I could snag the combo, although I don’t desperately need it. I am trying to decide if I should bite the bullet and buy, or hang on a little longer.
If it makes any difference, Bambu has in the past offered to refund the difference for printers purchased (for a period of time) before a sale is launched. The last X1C I bought was just before the sale happened and they send me a code for the $200 difference. Will this happen on future sales? No guarantees but it is good info to know.
