Heatbed sensor malfunktion

Hi

I have an X1 Carbon that behaves…

From one moment to the next the heatbed stops heating - that’s not quite correct - it stops registering the heat. That is, I can turn up the heat, but the sensors don’t register it.

If I set it to 100 degrees, I burn my hand when I touch the bed, but it says it’s only 80 degrees.

If I turn off the heat, the bed gets cold again, but it still shows 80 degrees.

I assume the sensor is defective. I can’t find any defective cables or loose connectors.

But I can see that there are 3 sensors - 2 in the front of the bed and one in the back, by each adjustment screw and a small print where they are assembled.

So the question is, do all 3 sensors and the print need to be replaced or can I pinpoint the defective part?

I believe that’s what you need.

Yes, i think so too, but there are 3 of them. So witch one is the defectiv one?

That might be trial and error. I don’t know if there is a way to isolate which one it is. With any luck you would be able to see a bad wire or connection.
