Is there a way to make the P1S heat the print bed when there are errors that prevent the Start button from working? I am not preparing to print and the errors cannot be cleared. I just need to control the bed and chamber temperatures for a different application.
Go to the heatbed temperature setting panel and enter a value. Or do the same from the Device tab in Studio. I turn the heatbed on all the time, while I’m setting up to do a print, so I don’t have to wait for it when I’m ready to start the print.
That’s what isn’t working. The heat never turns on.
Can you heat the bed from the printer display?
Then something is busted in the heater circuit, or there is some other issue that’s acting like a fail-safe and preventing the heater circuit from turning on. I literally do this all the time. Open Studio, go to the device tab, wait for it to connect (a few seconds) and then type a number in to the heatbed (or nozzle) temperature setting field. Then I go back to prepare and do all my prep and the printer is pre-heated when I finally get around to clicking “Print”…
SOLVED. Very simple solution - click Start Print arrow.
