Hello! I have had my A1 mini for a year now, and it has 400 hours on it. Recently I was doing a print, print doesn’t matter, and my Fillament snapped. So I’m like ok, so I go to remove it, and it doesn’t unload and I get all sorts of errors. So I go to dissect it, and I cut it and pull out the nozzle, and I see a tail of Fillament sticking out. So I use Bambu AI, and it tells me to do stuff, and I do, and i get it out. So I’m like ok, that probably fixed it. Well it didn’t, and all sorts of issues happened. The main problem was when it loaded it stared clicking after a little and the wheel on the extruder would “click” backward and almost no Filament came out. so again I go back to Bambu AI and it says it’s the Fillament cutter, to me it didn’t make sense but I tried and it looked fine. So I look and keep going to Bambu ai, (not support because they take forever) and I eventually decide it’s the hotend. So I take it out and try to load it without the hotend, no clicking. So I decide, it’s clogged, an I do a cold pull and do every YouTube I could find. Nothing. So I go back to Bambu AI and it tells me to buy a new one, thanks a lot Bambu ai. So I try one more thing. I get a heat gun and set it to ten highest setting and torch it. So much stuff dripped out, I stuck stuff through and it was clean. Try it again, clicking. So i go and order 2 hotends and a Fillament cutter. Waiting on arrival. Any ideas to stop this? Can I save the hotend?? Thanks!
It is possible the clicking is something else, or somewhere else, like a piece of broken filament in the gears or the head above the nozzle.

It is likely the nozzle is fine, provided it is not physically (visually) broken.

It is fixed! New nozzle fixed it, bought hardened steel so should last longer!
I guess that’s one way of getting rid of a nozzle clog

You can still try heating up the old nozzle and using something like this…
… to unclog it.
They are meant for direct extruders like in Prusa machines so you have to use it with the nozzle removed on Bambus. But it is still a very useful tool. Might be nice to save a nozzle.
Hardened steel will not prevent clogs like in this case but good thinking
