Afternoon all. I am a complete novice. I just need some help with an issue i haven’t been able to solve all week. I have created a jester hat on meshy ai, then loaded it into bambu studio. When its sliced not painted its ok but i have painted itnfor the kids and now it slices with holes in it. Iv increased the wall loops to 6 and still no joy. I have no idea hot to solve it.
hi I’m also a beginner but I think I have a tip for you go to your bamboo studio (app you can download via bambulab itself) and then you need to adjust the slicer. hopefully this helpsbest regards kay
It looks like your red filament is well out of calibration and probably moist. New filament is usually moist as it has travelled the 7 seas in bags that slow moisture ingress, but do not stop it.
So I’d recommend to dry especially new spools and calibrating the filament flow dynamics.

Bote that you can use the printers heat bed to dry filament.

When you look at it in Bambu Studio after slicing, are the holes present? If your model file has areas that are too thin for a single wall thickness it will create a hole. The software you used to create the model may not have enough resolution.
Another thought is if this was larger and you used Bamu Studio to scale it down to size. When you scale things up or down everything is made smaller or larger. This could result in areas too thing to print.
I think the model may be too thin in spots - less than a wall width. There will not be 6 wall loops if the model does not have space for even one.
What does the Summary view of the preview tab look like?
Can you paste a screenshot?
While moisture can be involved, there appears to be gaps in very specific places and decent material everywhere else.
Both potentials should be investigated.
