Hello guys, first of all happy new years to everyone. It’s been two months I fighting with this noise that appears on my x1c after reach about 1300 hours of printing. I’ve contacted the support and they said I have an high resistance from x axis and send to me a replacement. I’ve performed the replacement (also the belt) but the same noise is still here and I can’t figured out what it is. The only thing I know it’s before wasn’t there. When I unmount the olds belts I’ve also cleaned up al the pulleys and lube them but maybe I don’t have the right tool for get the oil inside. I’ve ordered the right tool and I’m waiting it but for me isn’t this the problem. Before I’ve for sure some problem on the x axis because I can hear the difference but I wrote to them for this. After the video was recorded I use this model from makerworld: Timing Belt tensioning tool for maintenance by VroDoPrints - MakerWorld and now I see the belts are more centered on the x pulleys but the noise is still here. Definitely an improvement but unfortunately this is not the cause. Support now says to me to unmount the belts and clean them but, at least for me, was a pain when I do the x axis replacement and in that case I wasn’t warred too much to damage the olds carbon rods but now they are new and I don’t know man…I just unpack them and mount them, they seems dirty but they was already like that.

Unfortunately I think I am at the point when they only reply with “if it not affecting the print quality isn’t a problem” and also “vfa is normal”. At least I’m assuming it because they send to me a printing file to see if there are printing quality issues and asked if I can clean and lube the y axis witch isn’t the problem (also of course I’ve done that after the replacement and do again when they told to me but of course didn’t do nothing). If I move the tool head in y there aren’t any noise. I always had the vfa problem like a lot of people here and i know what they respond if u tell to them this. So for that reason I haven’t replied again to the ticket. Also they send to me some fixing block for the idler tensioner pulleys but after installing them I’ve remove them because they are totally unnecessary. I don’t have problem with slipping tensioner…. of course they didn’t improve anything. Problem is I can’t figured out when the noise comes from and because it’s only on the left side. I’ve already in the past the squeaking noise from tensioner pulley but this for me is a different things.
