Help! My P1S is dead in the water

Everything was working fine. Bullet proof machine. But now, I get [0300-4000 104904]. So I cleaned and lubed the lead screws, oiled the linear rods, cleaned carbon rods with alcohol and tried a full cal. Now I get [0300-4000 110304]. Wiki calls for making precision meaurements to assure parallel bed, but doing so would require acrobatics that I’m not able to perform. Any ideas? Any help will be appreciated.

Look under the bed, way back near the back z screw and see if one of the cables are touching the Z screw/rod. If so push them back out of the way.

Look at the 2 Z rails behind the front screws. If the bearing is showing above the bracket then that could be the problem. HMS_0300-0D00-0001-0003: The build plate may not be properly placed. If this message appears repeatedly, please check the Wiki for more reasons. | Bambu Lab Wiki

Check that the build plate is not pushed too far back and it is too close to the rear wall. Also make sure it’s not overlapping on either edge as well as a piece of filament poop stuck on one of the braces or hanging off somewhere.

Thank you for the response. As it turned out, BBL was telling me that something was going on with the build plate. Knowing they couldn’t possibly be right, I kept looking and lead screws and such. Then I decided to try another build plate and the problem went away. I cleaned the original build plate and now everything’s back to normal. Who knew? Thanks again!

You build plates may not have been properly aligned on the magnetic bed or some debris was under the build plate. If my build plates is just slightly misaligned I get an error.

Yep. I’ll be more careful with what’s under it instead of just what’s on it.
