I see the original problem was sorted out. I have been mainly printing PETG HS recently using the textured plate. Its perfect sticks nicely until the plate cools down then literally pops off with no effort. But today I printed with Bambu silk PLA on the same textured plate. It stuck so well I thought it would never come loose. So a question, should I lower the plate temperature for the PLA? Or should I use glue to provide an interface?

Oh, I really wanted to go the official Bambu Filament track. But I find it too expensive and the filament that I look for is often out of stock :frowning:

Is your bed temp different between PETG and PLA?(It should be). I generally run 75 on PETG and 55 on PLA. Glue would help as a release agent, yes.

like @CRracer712 said, bed temp at 55C for PLA and 70-75C for PTEG. I also use nozzle temp 220C for PLA and the slicer changed it to 250C for PTEG so yeah, your temps should be lower

Been there, done that! Took six hours to figure it out. :face_with_raised_eyebrow::roll_eyes:

Thanks, On PLA I am running 230c and 55c I actually use PETG and PETG HF for almost everything. What 1st layer temp do you run on PLA? Mine is set to 230c, I will try it tomorrow at 220 and see if there is any change in how it sticks to the bed (right now it’s far too strong), I’m happy with the finish of the print using 230c

220 nozzle and 55 bed for all layers
