HELP….. TPU/ P1S problem

I have loaded some TPU into my AMS 2 pro… not realising that it is not approved. Now I cannot get it out of the feed mech.

Can any one help…. I have cut the filament from the spool leaving about 30 cm free but I do not know how to remove it… the conventional way is not working… it seems jammed.

Can you HELP please

Stuart

Had a similar issue and (NOT SAYING TO DO WHAT I DID!!!) but I wound up pulling out what I could, and then feeding another filament through the tube.
If I recall, I used the “(un)load filament” feature, which purges the current filament in the tube. That did it for me.

But PLEASE WAIT for others who know way more than I do to comment!!!

Ok thank you…… I did tug on it whilst pressing the release lever, but no joy. But I will try this if there is no other suggestions :+1:t2:

Also, do you know how to pull off the AMS and take the AMS tubes (from under the unit) off? I learned how to do this AFTER all of my tugging and pulling.
If you haven’t done that you may want to first.

It seems the tpu has threaded through to the box on the back but no further. I do not know how to unclip all that lot???

I just did as you suggest…. Oh what joy… thankyou. I disconnected the ptfe tube from the rear of the ams and pulled from there:+1:t2::+1:t2::+1:t2:
