I’m starting to print ABS with my P1S.
I noticed in the Bambu Studio settings that the chamber fan speed is set to 70.
Doesn’t this prevent the chamber temperature from getting high enough?
I’ve read that many people keep it off by default — is it normal that mine is active and set to that value?
What do you recommend I do?
This setting seems to automatically turn on when you check the “Air filtration enhancement” in the Printer settings menu.

Default settings with air filtration turned off and exhaust fan at 0.
All default settings. machine does just close everything when you print hot. But check filament’s cooling settings to match your model’s needs…
I don’t think you need to change the parameters, just make sure your filaments are dry.
If you want a simple solution that helped me get perfect prints with ABS/ASA
just turn of all cooling basically and make sure to adjust your layertimes accordingly. Most people have problems with layer adhesion which can easily be fixed by just turning all cooling fans and adjust layertimes. Shorter layertimes = better layer adhesion especially for ABS and ASA.
Altough defining layer times can be a little bit challenging, it can also be the one thing that makes or brakes your ASA/ABS Print
